I know that this is a very common error, but I am running W2K and MF 1.8 SP2. I have tried all of the fixes that I have seen posted that pertain to W2K/MF1.8 SP2. I have 2 servers that are on the same subnet and one works fine the other, suddenly, does not. I can't even connect locally without getting this error. Any ideas?

Is it possible that your W2k temporary licenses have expired? Check the Event Log - this sounds very familiar :-(

I hope this helps

I am connecting with W2K clients. There shouldn't be a license issue?

When you say you "can't even connect locally", do you mean that if you run an ICA client on the MF server console that you get the same message?

If you can connect using RDP clients, but not ICA, then it's more probable that the issue lies within your domain's DNS setup, since RDP uses WINS for Name resolution. Check that the server in question has the correct records on the DNS server.

Is there anything in the Event Log on that server that gives any clues?

Good Luck!
