Citrix server/netgear RT311 router

Hi,

I am unable to connect to my citrix farm from the internet.
I have opened port 1494 and 1604 and forwarded them to the IP address of the server running Citrix metaframe XP but the client can not find the server over the internet (on local LAN works fine)

Are you using a straight ICA Client Connection or NFuse and are you conencting to the server rather than a Published App / Desktop.

Is the server using the Router as default gateway - if not it will not be able to find the route back to the client machine?

Depending on the complexity of the config you may need to use the Citrix ALTADDR function.

Thanks Mike but i got it sorted.. in the ICA client under firewall settings I had to tick: Use alternate address for firewall connection..
