Citrix Server Does NOT apply GPO termservers do

I just started a new gig. Not too sure of how all this was implemented. I do know that they are running Citrix XPa and Presentation server 3. Both of which do not apply GPO settings. However if I termserv into any other server, the GPO is applied just fine.

Any tips, advice, on what it may be or where to start would be greatly appreciated!

Are the Citrix servers in a different container than the "other" servers.

Usually the Citrix servers have a different container in the A/D structure.
Then you would create a GPO for that container and apply it to it.

What version of Windows are you using?
I would do a secedit /refresh machine_policy /enforce and a secedit /refresh user_policy /enforce command if its a Win2k server.

If it's a Win2k3 server do a gpresult and see what you get back.

Thanks for taking the time out to reply. I would have liked to supply more info, but that was all I had.

I pretty much walked the guy through the steps.

It ended up being a lack of the loopback. and local policy on the actual citrix server.


Anyhow, its resolved. Not bad for the first couple days on the job.
