I am running Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 on a Windows 2003 machine. I am also running the Web Interface on this machine. When installing the web interface I received an error regarding Port 80 already being in use by the XML Service. I then followed the directions from CTX107683, which Configures the XML Service to Share with IIS. After XML was sharing with IIS I was then able to successfully complete the Web Interface install, but here’s the issue… I am able to go onto the web page I just created but after I log in with my correct credentials, I am receiving an Error:
“The supplied credentials could not be validated. Either they are incorrect, or there is a problem with the authentication system. Try again, or contact your help desk or system administrator for help.
When going into Event Viewer I am getting the errors:
All of the configured XML Services for “farm1” failed to respond to this XML transaction. [Log ID: c98c15be]
And
The Citrix XML Service object was not found: "404" "Not Found". This message was reported from the XML Service at address " [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestCapabilities]". This XML Service could not be contacted and will be temporarily removed from the list of active services. [Log ID: 79c6e39]
I have checked and rechecked Terminal Server Licensing and Citrix Licensing. I have uninstalled the web interface server, re-installed IIS, changed the XML port to run on another port instead of “sharing” with IIS and am still receiving these errors.
I am going to try a complete uninstall and reinstall of Citrix 4.5, but am hoping someone may have an idea of what is going on or something else I can try before I completely uninstall and reinstall. (I have put quite a bit of time into creating my policies and publishing applications, so don’t really want to do this…)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
