Hello all,

I know I saw some similar forums regarding the same problem but I tried some of the recommended troubleshooting and no luck still. For some reason we can logon externally to the Citrix server and use the applications such as Outlook, but when we log on internally and try to access a program it says something like Citrix metaframe is not accepting anymore connections?!? Any ideas I am kind of new to this and I read a forum saying something about NFuse?? and adjusting a setting to normal where would I go abouts to do this? Thanks for everyones help.

In Nfuse its in the translation bits.

You want to set up that if users are from external IP they use altaddr otherewise the use internal ip address. Try finding the NFUSE.CONF file, I seem to remember it being there.

An alternative may be to upgrade to Web Interface as it is done via a GUI which is nice.

Yes there will be an entry for Address alternate which will have your alternate address, you need to find the "normal" entry and tell it that your lan address people should use the internal adress.

What version of NFuse have you got, I seem to remember that with earlier versions you couldn't have an external and internal from the same web site.

I am searching for the .conf file as we speak, as for what version of Nfuse I am not sure but I know that we are able to access Citrix internally and externally,.... something must of got goofed up....

So I have found the .Conf file and this is what the line looks like:

"ClientAddressMap=192.168.1.,normal,192.168.10.,normal,*,alternate"

So the address of our citrix server is the 192.168.10.1 but as you can see in the line above it only states 192.168.10?? Shouldn't it be 192.168.10.1 to specify the server itself unless its defaulting to search the whole .10 subnet?? Thanks again for your help!

Jamie

No what it is sayimg is that people who come from those subnets are to use the normal address, and everyone else should use alternate.

SO to put the line into english

users whose address is 192.168.1.* use normal address
users whose address is 192.168.10.* use normal address
Everyone else use alternate

Which looks good, unless you have other users not on those IP subnets.

Ahh okay so I see what might be the problem, majority of office users are on the .2 subnet so can i just add that in?? I.E.

"ClientAddressMap=192.168.1.,normal,192.168.10.,normal,192.168.2.,normal,*,alternate"

So I would just add that in? Thanks again for your time.

Jamie

That would probably do it.

I think the one entry 192.168. would cover any extras too.

"ClientAddressMap=192.168..,normal,*,alternate"
