I am new in citrix field. I just want to know that whether i require Citrix metaframe and Nfuse both to publish applications or NFUSE can be used independently. If both are rerquired than what is the purpose of Citrix Metaframe?

NFuse is a Web front-end for Citrix MetaFrame published applications. That's why it's freely available for download - you can't use NFuse without MetaFrame.

The point of MetaFrame (in this case) is that you can simply publish a user's applications over the web directly into a portal, rather than have the user log into a desktop every time. The portal also offers the means by which a company can provide news and services together with the apps in a single web page which is customisable by the user.

Hope this clarifies it for you CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
