Citrix logo confused?

I have a Windows 4.0 TSE with SP6 and Citrix Metaframe 1.8 SP3 FR1. What I am seeing now is that sometimes the flying man logo is displayed (normal) or the Windows NT 4.0 TSE logo is displayed at logon. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which one shows up. It may change multiple times during the day or not at all. Typically, rebooting the server corrects the problem - but switches to the NT logo after a while (not determinate).

Anybody have an idea what is going on here? It doesn't affect performance of the system, but is noticed by users and they are asking WHY???

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Check in the advance connection configuration settings that the setting for user profile overrides (Disable wallpaper) isn't ticked. we experienced a similiar problem with three load balanced servers. On one server it didn't display and on the others it would. Although it had no impact, it did cause confusion to our poor users.
