Citrix License errors.

I've recently installed Citrix on a windows 2000 Server with terminal services. XPs metaframe 1.0.

My issue is that Citrix will not recognize the licenses installed. I added the Connection Pack and Main keys under the License section of the Citrix Management console but I still get "Warning! The following Citrix Product.... etc" when I login.

If you look under the license Numbers Tab it states the status as "Activated" for both licenses.

As a note, and I doubt this has anything to do with it, but I've yet to recieve my PIN from MS on terminal services from the MOLP. Not sure if this would cause a problem... it doesn't seem to.

What is the exact error message you're getting? Are you sure it isn't referring to Windows 2000 CAL's?

Yeah, I'm starting to think it is because the terminal services Licensing service won't start. I'm on the line with MS to get my PIN number right now... i hope....

Ok so, I regged up terminal services, it's running fine now and I still get the message. The error message is specifically stating Citrix Metaframe XP for Windows 1.0 is not licensed. That's what it's saying.

MS Licensing will not generate the Citrix licensing error you are referring to (as I'm sure you have now found out). I have some questions that hopefully will help. First, you mentioned adding the "connection pack and main keys". I want to be sure I understand. Can you type the license descriptions for the licenses you have added? Also, are you using Feature Release 1 or 2? Do you have Feature Release licenses added and activated? To test the Feature Release thought, change your server to no Feature Release by right clicking the server name and clicking Set Feature Release. Select None from the drop down. This does not uninstall the Feature Release only disables it's functionality. It is very simple to put back once the test is done.
