Just wanted to let everyone know that I found the registry location of where Citrix / Terminal Services originate from. I suspect that this is what the "change user / install" gets updated.

The key is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\TERMINAL SERVER\INSTALL

Under this key, you'll find subkeys for software and machine registry settings.

If you want to find out how I found this, keep reading, otherwise, have fun!

I have two Citrix servers. I installed Groupwise on both and they were working fine. The only problem was that everytime a user logged in for the first time, they had to type in their Groupwise username, IP and Port. In the process of troubleshooting an unrelated problem, I accidentally uninstalled Groupwise from one server. "No problem", I said, "I'll just reinstall". Well, it was a problem. When I reinstalled, all the users kept trying to pen up the administrator mailbox, not there own; however, they were not prompted for IP and port. I knew I could add the /@u-? to the end of the executable, but you know how users are, give them extra steps and they'll cry. So, I investigated and finally found the registry listed above under software\Novell\Groupwise\Login Parameters\Account ID (or something like that, as soon as I found it I deleted it so I didn't write it down). After I deleted the Account id key and retried it worked like a charm!!!!

Now I just have to figure out how to preset the path for the Personal Address Book...

Change user/install modifies the software keys under the path you specify, and then copies these for each user.

This process is detailed in the must-have Technical Reference from Microsoft, and outlined in this document pertaining to Windows 2000 server (although it's still relevant to NT4 TSE;

Now if you were using Outlook, you could use Microsoft's profile utility, but I'll have to pass on Groupwise.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reference; however, I did try installing first through "Add/Remove Programs" and then via the command prompt for the "Change User /Install (Execute)" commands and it didn't work. So, I had to manually modify the registry with the correct settings.
