Citrix in DMZ?

Is Citrix better suited to LAN vs. being on the DMZ? If servers on DMZ require public IP addresses, I don't see how the Citrix server would be part of LAN (shared directories or AD) or access apps on LAN. Thanks.
 
Keep your server where its at..however open the public IP on the firewall for TCP and UDP traffic and set the altaddr to the same public IP on the Citrix Server. On the client side, make sure you check the "Use alternate address" on the firewall setting.
