I am very much a rookie when it comes to using citrix, as our admin has left and I am trying to do some changes. I had to republish an application and change some drive mappings from a novell server to a microsoft server. However when I login to the application via citrix client I dont get my drive mapping UNLESS I log in as administrator. Is there a way to give all the users on our citrix server the same drive mappings that administrator has? thanks in advance.

computerjock33,
You can enable client side mappings within the policies of the Citrix farm.

Log into the CMC and go to the policies icon and check to see if there are any policies already configured to allow this. If there one....just make sure its enabled and applied to the group of Citrix servers that you want this configuration enabled on.

If there isn't one...create one that allows print mapping and drive mappings to your Citrix servers.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, that at least gives me a starting point. Im guessing that tool is installed from a metaframe cd. We are running version 1.8 ahaha yes I know ahahahah

computerjock33,
Well...Citrix 1.8 does not have any policies (this is only for XP and above) so you will have to log into each 1.8 server and look at the CCC (Citrix Connection Configuration) utility.

Look under the ICA-TCP properties and go to advance settings to check the ICA client mappings. Make sure that they have the disk and printer settins set proper and to overwrite user settings.

Hope that helps.
