Citrix default printer issues...

On two out of 35 of the citrix clients we have, when the user trys to print in citrix, his default printer changes to some other random printer rather than the default printer on his machine. His default printer is a network printer. When he prints locally, the default is always correct, so it is definitly a citrix issue.

The issue seems to follow the user around, If he citrix's in from a different PC the same issue happens. Any ideas?

Have you tried killing his Citrix profile and creating a new one? It could a funky element in the profile.

Both the citrix profile and local windows profile....they where both wiped out.

Hi,

Can you check that the users Citrix Program Neighborhood and ensure that they have a unique client name (Tools | ICA Settings).

Have you solved your issue, because I have the same problem ?

Working with network printers (2 configured on my computer: 1 colour and 1 B&W), when I print something it doesn't use my default printer, but always the B&W one.

I think you need a hotfix. I think it is 81 or 83 you must have SP3 for XP installed tho. Check out the Citrix hotfixes for descriptions.
