Citrix Concurrent Users

Having some problems with a Citrix farm, metaframe servers are 2*Xeon CPU/4GB RAM

I have heard that these servers should typically be able to support up to (and possibly over) 60 concurrent sessions, but we're getting memory problems after 20+ sessions with one specific app....

Anyone else had similar problems? - or got any better views of the concurrency level we should be going for....

Also, 2-way servers v's 4 way servers - I heard Citrix view was many smaller servers - anyone got any conflicting views?

Performance and scalability are totally dependant upon the needs/behavior of individual applications. You can't expect the same scalability comparison between apps that have different server requirements.

You may want to look at a product like TScale from RTO, or Aurema's ARMTech. Citrix has licensed products from both RTO and Aurema for its next release (MPS4.0) to assist with optimization.
