Hi
I am new to Citrix. I am just supporting citrix NFuse 1.7 users. The users i am supporting are using applications through NFuse1.7 application portal. Some fat client Users get the message when they click on some application that "you have chosen to download an application launch.asp. open from current location or download". Even if they say yes it keeps on appearing again and again. I checked the browser version , it was ie5.5. Some users get messages like "download citrix java clients". What should i install on the clint side so that they do not get these messages using Nfuse application portal. Should i install the citrix java client on all the fat clients. Thin clients do not get any such message.

Souds like you haven't installed eather the java client or the activex component. Best way to do this is to install for example the activex component (downloadable at on the IIS server where you host your NFUSE HTML pages. Check your NFUSE manuals or help files where to install these (if you reinstall NFuse than you can select to install the clients on the webserver). When a user connects and does not have the proper client, it'll be downloaded from the IIS server. Otherwise take care that clients know where you have placed the executable to install the activex component.
