Hello,

I'm a newbee at Citrix. At my place we have three servers and all is working fine beside one thing.
When my enduser log into the server using thin client the server creates a profile folder for the enduser and it work fine. But when i the end user runs any report and try to save it with adobe PDF it does not save or the save a copy in adobe does not work. I called adobe and they said that its the citrix server issue.

I am not following your problem exactly. But it sounds like you may not have the client's Citrix security settings set to allow for local drive access.

Can they save ANYTHING to their local drive when logged into Citrix?

Was Acrobat installed using the "change user" function?

THANKS for the reply JDEMMI,

YES the client is able to save files to their local drive. The issue i'm having is that when user submitted report and view in PDF the PDF would not allow them to save it.

Thanks

what application is generating the PDF?

what version of acrobat reader?

what, if any, error messages do they receive?

JDEMMI

APP: JDE

ACROBAT VERSION: 5.0.5

NO ERRORS

First thing I would do is to upgrade the Acrobat Reader to version 6 at least. Version 7 would be preferred.
