I am having a hard time opening a custom form in Microsoft Outlook 2000 in Citrix. It says the custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead. If I give the user Domain Admim rights they can access this form. Out of Citrix they can access it also. Is there a security setting in Citrix that I need to change? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's nothing in Citrix's software that controls access rights to Outlook, but you could try using Filemon to discover where the permissions might need to be changed.

Did you run the ACS after you installed Outlook?

Hope this helps

I had to deal with Outlook/forms at my last employment. It was always a pain... In your case I would 1st check permissions on the forms directory which should reside I believe somewhere in the system root on your Citrix server. Open that up and see if it fixes your problem. I assume that is where your custom form is. If that does not work than copy the entire Forms directory to the users home/working directory. We incorporated an automatic copy of the systems form directory to the users working directory as part of opening up Outlook. It worked for us. -- Devil Dog --

It has nothing to do with permisions. The problem is a corrupt form cache file. You will have to delete the form and next time you try to open it will be recreated. The file you have to delete is a form cache file frmcache.dat ... Just search for it and delete it. Diffrent OS keep it in diffrent places, i.e. win95 c:\windows\forms or win nt4 c:\winnt\forms
