hi,

When users try to log into an application on nfuse, they receive this msg.

"cannot connect to citrix server. no citrix server is configured at the specified address"

Can someone please help me fix the problem?
Jen

Go to the NFuseadmin web page and click on "MetaFrame servers". Make sure the server is entered in the "Server list" section.

Make sure the XML servie port, listed further down the page, is the same one being used on your Citrix server.

Make sure you can telnet to the Citrix server on port 1494 and get an "--ICA" response.

hope this helps,

we are able to access nfuse internally. externally we can get to citrix via program neigborhood by installing the ica client on the user's pc. but nfuse will not find the server from the outside. we checked everything you said to and they are all correct, any other suggestions?

Sound like an alternate address issue. Check in the nfuse manager what the external (alternate) ip address is set to.

Jontmke is correct. Make sure there's an alternate address set on your Citrix server.

Hopefully you're on NFuse 1.7
Set your internal address scheme in NFuse admin as say 10. or 192.168. and standard addressing (no translation). The default should then be set to alternate address.
