Hello All,
I've got a question we are a 100% windows shop running 7 Citrix servers. I have a board member that wants to use his Mac to access our Windows applications. I thought that perhaps using the Mac client from Citrix will allow him to do this. Any thoughts? Also would I need to install the AppleTalk protocol on my network?

Well depending on the mac (if real old or not), Mac's can use TCP/IP protocol just fine. You can install the citrix client on MAC OS X it works just fine. The only thing I can tell you to watch for would be printing to a local printer. The drivers are going to work.

Would there be a need to install any other protocols?

dpu,
You do not need any additional protocols installed on your network. TCP/IP is the only protocol required so don't worry about that.

I've had MAC clients connect via Web Interface to Microsoft applications without any problems.
If you have a Web Interface server....put the Java client on there so you don't have to install any kind of client on the MAC side. You will have to be careful with printing because the Java client does have some limitations.

Hope that helps.
