Do you know where i can self learn this Citrix program ?
cuz i still feel i don't know enough to use it full protentual

i did a test on Metaframe XP, thinking of upgrading it
i got from Metaframe 1.0 to Metaframe 1.8 on Win2k, there are some issue about printing and disconnection

i asked some of the citrix people when i went to the seminar, they said it can be resolve thru Metaframe xp.
when i loaded that in, it will not let my win2k client to log on, it said it requires a license, that's dumb

i can't migrate my license over till i know for sure it works with my Progress Database

There are always issues with printing in Microsoft Terminal Server. I've put up an FAQ (which I've updated) with a few useful links in it to resources. There are simply too many things that can go wrong with printing for me to do an FAQ on the actual subject - although I'm working on it...Chapter 6 of the free online Metaframe book covers printing.

There are several reasons why disconnections might happen - check through Citrix's knowledge base, and get your network quality analysed. The main 2 reasons a disconnection will happen are;
1. A user or an admin disconnects a session.
2. There is a problem or interference with the way the packets are routed from the client to the server or vice versa.

Which Citrix people did you talk to at which seminar?

What, specifically did they say that XP could resolve?

There are many posts here on Windows 2000 licensing. It takes a bit of getting your head around.

i went a Citrix Canada Info Seminar
the actual problem i have is with disconnect, i will look at it in the knowledge base FAQ

A user will work and all of a certain they get stuck in a session and when they asked me to reset them, then it will work again, this is local in a LAN, not even WAN

Sometimes they can't even print at all, like once a while, then after reboot, it will fix all problem on that printing
