is there any good website for self-study for ciscoworks?

i wish to learn it.

what is the fuction of 'ciscoworks?

as far as i know CW is a group of tools for managing for multiple cisco devics (please correct me if i'm wrong!)

You have it correct . Ciscoworks is used for managing cisco devices . You can keep track of inventory , upgrade code on all cisco devices . Run certain reports and it will give you a GUI represenation of cisco devices thru the Ciscoview portion of the tool .

Hi, i'm new to the site and what brought me here was my search for a free download of cisco works. i am doing inventory this week on over 20 cisco devices and i would love to use this application to do it. Some let me know where i can download it.

Hi,

You cant really get it for free as such you could try and use Cisco Network Assistant.

Thats what we use, works well for switches.
