I am a newbe and just installed.I lived problems when I change "performance options" from server-default settings, and customize CPU % 80 ANIServer gets down.I wouldn't recommend to do this.Because background Ciscoworks services just kill CPU(on win 2000)

Check your CW2000 servers DNS settings. 99% of the problems I've had with the ANI server have been down to the server not being able to resolve it's own DNS name.
If this is the case- you can adjust the ANI servers settings by editing the file ANIServer.properties (you might have to double check the file name) and look for a line saying "use DNS=TRUE". Backup the file and set this to false.
