Hi,

I got a hold of an old CiscoPro 2501 router. I would like to start building my CCNA lab with it. What do I need to do to get this thing up to par?

Code:
Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software
IOS (tm) 3000 Bootstrap Software (IGS-RXBOOT), Version 10.2(8a), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Copyright (c) 1986-1995 by cisco Systems, Inc.

cisco 2500 (68030) processor (revision L) with 14332K/2048K bytes of memory.
Processor board serial number 02818144 with hardware revision 00000000
X.25 software, Version 2.0, NET2, BFE and GOSIP compliant.
1 Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 interface.
2 Serial network interfaces.
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.

Any recomendations on additional equipment? How about any of the CCNA lab packages from
Thanks!

Wow, a CiscoPro! I haven't even heard that term in a few years. At least it's running 10.2(8a). That's pretty old, but I got a 4000 series router once that was running 9.x! That was really weird.

I don't remember the difference between a regular 2500 and a CiscoPro 2500. I seem to remember that you just need to upgrade the IOS but I might be wrong about that. How much flash does it have?
