Cisco350 pc-card - Resource temporarily unavailable

I've got a dell laptop running Koppix and a Cisco Airo 350 pcmcia card. At bootup it, the linux see's the card, starts cardmgr and tries to load the modprobe airo_cs and I get the error:
"cardmgr[69]: get dev info on socket 1 failed: Resource Temporarily unavailable"

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this, any advice would be appreciated.
