Cisco2610 can't detect the VIC-2E&M interface card

Dear all:
My Router is Cisco 2610, IOS version is 11.3(2)XA4,with NM-2V(Two-slot Voice/fax Module ), WIC-1T, VIC-2E&M ( Voice interface card ),When the router power up, I found that the router can detect the WIC-1T , but can't detect the VIC-2&M card, Can you tell me what is happen with my router ? It need IOS upgrade ?

Your VIC card needs IOS 12.0.3(T) or later. A simple upgrade to the IOS ought to fix your problem right up

Thats correct and upgrade is needed. To verify the router equipment type sh diag and
you will see what the router detects. If you have a CCO login, go ahead and login , under service & support select software center, select cisco IOS software under software products and downloads, and select 12.1 and click download software. Here you will have to select the software of your choice. Good Luck, I hope this helps !!! #-)

its better If you go for 12.0.7 T it is pritty much stable
Remamber If you going to have voice & FAX with 12.1 ver than better switch to 12.1.5T
