I hope someone can point me in the right direction. i am new to Cisco, i have taken a cisco boot camp but my primary skill set is Ms windows...
Here are how the interfaces are configured, granted this is just a basic config so I can access the management GUI IP from just a unmanaged Netgear switch from my laptops IE.
AP-Manager = IP/ 10.1.0.2, Sub / 255.255.255.0, Gate / 10.1.0.4 - untagged
Management = IP /10.1.0.1, Sub /255.255.255.0, Gate / 10.1.0.4 - untagged
Service-Port = IP / 10.2.0.12, Sub 255.255.255.0 - untagged
Virtual = 1.1.1.1
When I set my laptop’s lan card IP to static 10.1.0.x I cannot ping 10.1.0.1 or 2. When I set my laptop’s lan card IP to static 10.2.0.x I can ping 10.2.0.12.
From the console port of the WLC I can ping 10.1.0.1 and 10.2.0.12 but I cannot ping 10.1.0.2.
Any help would be great… I just need a second set of eyes just in case I missed something…
i am sure there is something i am doing wrong
thanks
