cisco WIC-1ADSL

We are looking at getting a cisco 1800.
Does the ADSL 1WIC make the router integrate the modem?
So I do not need an external modem for my ADSL circuit over my POTS line?
What are the pros and cons with intergrating the Telco modem?

The 1801 is the model that has an integrated MODEM.The 1841 can install the separate ADSL 1WIC.If you aren't thinking of future upgrades go with the 1801,it a complete solution.
The external modems are a hassle,two appliance to power and you will need an extra ethernet interface to plug it into.
