Hi all,

I know this is pretty tricky but I need some help, have any off you ever interconnected a Cisco Router with voice capabilities and a Merlin Margix/Legend with a T1 ISDN?

Im thinking to use in the Cisco side a VIC/WIC/HWIC/HVIC (any of these) and with the Merlin the MOD 100D/100R or some similar...

Can you help me with your comments?

Thanks in advance...

[tt]Lots of service providers do that using IADs (Integrated Access Device). So nothing really special there, but guessing how they configure it may be a challenge!

With IAD setup as 5E Custom and setup PRI in Merlin as usual.

You can integrate another way using Merlin Legend Networking.
Cisco could be setup as CO and Legend as CPE.
You may not get number ID on your calls

Thanks for your comments,

We are also considering FXS/FX0 card to made the cisco CO and the merlin CPE,

Is it possible to have this 5ess to isdn pri directly form cisco to merlin without the IAD?

Don't know but the IAD integrates the firmware plus the card.
