Hi I have been granted remote access to my schools Cisco Router and therefore access to the school network. I can connect after a fashion but wish to set this up correctly.

I have setup the VPN 4.6 client, but have to enter the password every time, I assume that the pcf file can be adapted to stop this?
I have then gone to the Control panel and setup a new network connection with my username, password, network name and server ip address ( this i have to click to connect after starting the VPN connection.
I have then setup a network place to my user space.
This all works but it seems an awful long winded way to connect. I assume there is a better way, A script to start the VPN, start the network connection and then map my user space.
Any ideas or hints please, Thanks

why would you want a script? what if someone else logs in to your pc and runs the script and powns you or worse, powns your school network? the cisco client is set up that way for that reason.

THanks for your reply, yes true you could go straight to the network, however i assume you would have to access my laptop first. it just seems a very long winded access route.
Thanks

what if you downloaded some malware that ran scripts or your laptop became a zombie bot?
