Alright I manage 200 remote clients that use the Cisco VPN to connect to our network over IPSEC. The problem is these remote clients are in vehicles.
Let’s say the users logs in and connects and everything works great but due to loss of power the computer abruptly shuts off. The next time he logs back in the VPN client will connect and show connected however the user never receives the "continue disclaimer" and he is unable to send and receive data until manually disconnecting and reconnecting the client.
I am able to identify that this happens when there is a power loss and fix by having the users disconnect and reconnect but I need to automate this process at startup.
Has anyone heard of this?
Is there a way to clear the VPN registry to act as though it is starting for the first time?
I assume that this is happening because the connection was never fully terminated by the client to the peer.
Please HELP!
