Hi

We currently use Cisco VPN client 4.6 and in our office we have a wireless internal router that then goes through our proxy (ISA on SBS2003) and an external wireless router that goes straight out onto tthe internet.

When we connect to the client via the external router then we have no problems.

If we connect to the client through the internal wireless access point then we can connect but can't ping or RDP onto any of their servers

Can anyone help?

I had the same issue, as our PC's are behind the firewall. Being behind the firewall, no VPN tunnel is created. If you are in front of the firewall, like your external wireless access point, you are infront of the firewall, like the rest of the world.

When I spoke to our Cisco rep, I was told this is by design.

We use a Cisco PIX 515 and client 4.05

Are you basically saying that the cisco vpn client can't be used through ISA?

I have read documents on the web about buidling rules in ISA to allow the access. Just can't get them to work
