After installing the Cisco VPN Client on a Windows XP Home machine, I am getting the error "The necessary VPN sub-system is not available - you will not be able to make a connection to the remote IPSec server."

I can see that the cvpnd service is not running - and even after I try to start it manually, it stops again. I've also disabled the IPSec service.

Anyone have any ideas on why the cvpnd service will not run?

Best regards, Terrence
