ISO informaition for installing and configuring a stand-alone Music-on-Hold unit with messaging capability, on a Cisco IP Phone facility. The VoIP system at the site is part of a large network, but requires messaging tailored to the specific facility.

Thanks.

What does the Cisco documentation say?

You can put the audio file local to the site on the router.
Then point all the phones through their DP to that local file instead of back at the main site.
If bandwidth is not a concern you can put that file on the main site and configure the site to play that specific site.

If you have to have an external source then you will need an E&M port and the right configuration to use that external source.
