Cisco virtual switch manager problems 1

Has anyone had problems getting into the visual switch manager on Cisco 3524 series switches. I can logon to the switch through internet explorer, but when clicking on the visiual switch manager, all i get is a blank page. I heard it worked on IE version 5.0, but not on 5.5 or higher.

I've used it before successfully on IE 5.0. I'm not sure if I ever tried it on IE 5.5 though. One thing to note is that it requires you install the Java applet on your computer. You can download it from Cisco with a valid CCO login.

YES! I didnt have a CCO login, but the inital screen that came up had a link to the release notes. I did some digging and found the java plugin. It worked like a charm. Thanks

Go to sun's website, you need a java runtime plugin, then it should work.
