Cisco - Using SCP with Cisco Routers

I have been using tftp and ftp for configuration file backups for a while. In an effort to tighten security, I tried to use scp several times without any luck.

Well, I finally got it to work. Hopefully, this tutorial will help fill the gaps for others wanting to use SCP to backup router configs.
