I have setup basic message notification in our Cisco Unity Express v. 3.2 for our users. We chose not to use the integrated messaging option as we do not want to be stuck using IMAP as we have an Exchange server. Anyway, basic message notification works just fine sending to an email address with the .wav attachment. However, we are not receiving any "sender" information in the email. Here is an example:

Message Type: Normal
Message for: jsmith
Message from: unknown sender

You have a Voicemail

Does anyone know how to make the "Message from" line show the sender? We understand that external calls will probably not show up but the above example is an internal call. Thank you

It won't show internal or externall caller ID, it strictly forwards the wave file to your smtp server.

bwherry, could you post how you set up the IMAPing? I have CUE as well and would like to try to set that up for my users.

I did not set up my system. My system shows internal caller ID(4 digits) and external caller ID(10 digits phone #). The caller ID is at the subject line.
