Hello,

I'll try and explain this as best I can. When I call comes in to an employee and they don't answer the call goes to their Unity voice mail account. However, when their phone is set to forward to voice mail and for whatever reason the user doesn't have a voice mail account configured in Unity the call then goes to a default voice mail account which happens to be the Help Desk. Well the Help Desk doesn't want all these unwanted voice mail messages.

What I would like to do is send these to a different default Unity account that is just an announcement, but I cant seem to find how these calls are routing to the Help Desk Unity account. Anyone know where this might be configured? Thanks

Okay, I think you might be right. I checked the routing rules but there's only two of them.. "Attempt Sign In" and "Opening Greeting". I checked Opening Greeting and its going to a Call Handler called "Opening Greeting". The Standard Greeting is going to a user with mail box and that is set to the Help Desk. Do you think this is probably the issue? I'm going to create a new number and voice mail user and set it to that and see what happens. Thanks

Your opening greeting would be the culprit.
