Cisco Unity Connections Report

When trying to generate user reports such as "User Message Activity Reports" I get the message "unable to find any report data based on parameters". This is when I search for a single user or all users. I also get the same on Mailbox Store Report, Message Traffic Report and others. Is there a parameter that I need to set for it to collect and store data?
