Hi,

I have a Cisco Switch Catalyst 3500 series XL which does not boot any more. The error message is "The system is unable to boot automatically because there are no bootable files to boot."

The flash is initialized but it wouldn't boot. I want to know if anyone has encountered this kind of error situation and the remedy for it.

Thanks.

Emma.

is there a valid .bin file on it to boot from?

It is what it is!!
