whats the first sertificate to get when starting cisco?

sorry if this is a really basic question but I dont know the cisco track at all.

Thanks

Everyone starts at the Associate level and there are a couple of available accreditations down there: CCNA (for engineers) and CCDA (for designers).

Once you've surpassed the Associate level, you can then target Professional exams followed by the Expert (top of the food chain) lab test.

The following URL from Cisco goes into detail about each level and the exams that reside at those levels.

Hope this helps
