Cisco router

Hi,

Wish me luck, got me CCNA test tomorrow. I was wondering, is there anyway off using a Cisco router for my cable modem, ie except a DHCP address from NTL.

or make use of it through the cable modem gateway that i have got now.

the thing is, i want to make use of it, as well as practice on it. also which one should i buy. I have one already which is a 1600 series. Can i use that, i dont think so, but u never know.

yes u can, if u have 2 ethernet port on your router
