On Ciscopress.com there are two CCNP Certification libraries available, one published Feb 21. 2003 (temporarily out of stock, $149.95) and one published Feb. 25, 2003 (In stock, $160). Other than the authors, does anyone know what the difference between the two are and which one is the "correct" one to buy?

Thank you for your time

You know I had this same question on my mind today. One is listed as the Cisco CCNP Certification Library (it comes with quizes and CD's :

And the other that I was looking at was CCNP Preparation Library (no mention of the CD's though) at

If you do use Cisco Press you can get a 20% discount with a "membership account" (read SPAM). I'm not sure of the difference but both are much cheaper at
Anyone else know the signifigant difference between the two (other than the desire to make more $$$$ by making 2 sets of manuals with the same info)

They are two separate products. The CCNP Prep Library (the 2nd link you have) is the 4 book set I use at cisco network academy, and along with examcram and boson, is very good preparation for CCNP exams (I've passed 640-503, 640-605, 640-604, just have the support exam left).

The first link you posted is a set of CD-ROM's which are used for honing your skills. I would get the 4 book set first, then pick this item up 2nd (IMO).
