I am about to undertake a CCNA, the majority of posts suggest using the cisco press books.

However what is the difference between:

CCNA Self-Study: CCNA Preparation Library (640-801), 6th Edition
By Steve McQuerry
ISBN: 1587051842
$81.00 (Save 10%)

CCNA Certification Library (CCNA Self-Study, exam #640-801)
By Wendell Odom
ISBN: 1587200953
$53.96 (Save 10%)

CCNA Practical Studies
By Gary Heap, Lynn Maynes
ISBN: 1587200465
$44.96 (Save 10%)

I am thinking about buying the certification library and the practical studies books. However what is the purpose of the preparation library, is it also worth purchasing??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

This one seems to be the real Mcoy:

CCNA Certification Library (CCNA Self-Study, exam #640-801)
By Wendell Odom
ISBN: 1587200953
$53.96 (Save 10%)

The other two look like they support the sylabus - preparation, covering basic concepts etc - Practical Studies, to practise and implement what you have learned.

I used the Wendell Odom book when I did the 607, and would recommend him. the other books look like they are optional.

Good luck!

Thanks.

Has anyone had any experience with the other books?
