Hi,
is there a way to access the outside interface ip from the inside interface ?
Pix outside ip: 1.2.3.4
Pix inside ip: 10.10.10.1
Static from 1.2.3.4 to 10.10.10.10 for a webserver
From the inside interface, I can connect to but not
Due is due to the fact that cisco blocks same interface connections.
I know about dns doctoring to change the ip in the dns reply, but that won't help me, I need to access the server from it's outside ip.
The reason is because users of Iphone that access the exchange server using activesync (on the outside ip) keep using the cellular link even when they are in the office. Even with dns doctoring, since the dns reply is cached, it doesnt switch to the WLAN connection...
In Pix OS 8.0 I saw some commands like same-security-traffic permit inter-interface
Is there now a way to permit traffic in and out of the same interface ?
Otherwise, I'll put a router between the WLAN and the pix, it will solde the problem, but it would be great to be able to do it on the pix directly.
Thanks
