I currently use a RAS server for data transfers between two sights. I'm thinking of adding an Access pt. and HUB. This will add a new and different class of IP address. On the other side of the RAS server is a Cisco switch.
My question is do I need a router? If so, what kind would be recommended?

You will always need a layer 3 device when trying to get packets from one class of IP to another. Whether this is a Router or a layer 3 switch (IP resides at layer 3 of the OSI where-as MAC Addresses or hardware addresses reside in the MAC sublayer of Layer 2), is entirely up to you.
