You guys have to read this! One of the moderators from the Cisco Learning Network hit me with a non-disclosure agreement warning.. I posted everything.. It is hilarious! You can read the post and know that I obviously did not disclose any test information! I have stated that I am thoroughly unimpressed with the caliber of Cisco LN Moderators... That is one-hundred fold now! LoL

Billy,

That is soo funny - she does not even respond to you or any one else!!!

But Billy, I really think it was your telling everyone that you missed passing by 1 question - that really helped me, all I have to do is have you take the test and then if I get 1 more right then you I am set :) :) not sure how that works or helps but I am ready to go!!!

It doesn't even make sense when I type it out :) I am with you as to the modarators, I guess that is why I don't hang out there that much!!

Oh well !!!!

I'm with CiscoGuy, I haven't spent much time out on the forums over there...just haven't been too impressed with the quality of the moderators as well as the overall quality of the posts that get put out there.

I do think the Cisco Learning Network is a nice resource outside of the forums though, or at least had the potential to be great early on. I think the content has started to go down hill already.

Unfortunately, I am inclined to agree. I have seen some flagrantly bad explanations given over there that went uncorrected but I will admit that there are some good people over there as well. Especially in the NP/IE portions of the site. This was just the most ridiculous thing that I have seen in any forum (from the admin side).. I honestly think that their moderator Nini Reed didn't appreciate all of the additional reading required to moderate my posts (I guess I am talkative.. LoL) and this was her lashing out! LoL

Regardless, I will keep you guys posted as this is somewhat humorous!

I got an answer from another moderator.. Was pretty much what I expected.. I knew that I did not void the NDA!

CiscoG,
What was the name of that other forum you mention way back.. DSLReports or something like that.. It was a very professional forum but was WAY over my head at the time! LoL (Probably still is.. LoL)

Isn't that just a general warning, and not necessarily pointed at you?
When are you going to stop thinking that everyone is out to get you? Sheesh...lol

Billy,

Yes other then Cisco, they have lots of other forums - general networking, security and one for many of the ISPs.

Yes, the Cisco one is or can be very advanced at times lots of CCIEs - the networking one is or can be very interesting, I also like the security area but it is mostly software related!!

So did the other mod say that you did not void NDA? I can not believe that she sent you ANYTHING based on your post, that is like saying that the CCNA exam has "questions" on it and you have to get about 85% right to pass :) Uh, NO SH_T SHURLOCK!!!!!

I saw a mod jump all over someone there talking about the format of the questions - like multi-guess, sims and pick all the right answers - knowing that they have these types of questions (like ALL cert exams do) does not help anyone, you do not know how many of each you will get or which they will be - I think they are just justifing their jobs as MODS!!!!!

Just some thoughts!!

Buirt,
I know.. I know.. I am paranoid! Comes with the turf I guess! In my defense, she did send it to me in a private message labeled VIOLATION WARNING! LoL

CiscoG,
Perhaps it was just her justifying the position. But she apparently sent one to me and another to Chetan.. We post A LOT! I am thinking that she was just trying to "bugger off" the jerks that are forcing her to read/moderate ALL OF THOSE POSTS! LoL

Thanks for the link!

I take back every semi-good thing I have said about this lady! Now she actually lied in the forum and said that I posted my score and she removed it... She keeps contradicting herself.. it's hilarious... I REALLY hope that someone will audit that thread and realize that she finds it necessary to lie in order to save face. She really should have just admitted that she was wrong or in the least just left it alone! I honestly can't believe that she lied! Twice!!! LoL

Go read it guys!! Is funny! She has absolutely no dignity!

Oh, and apparently I went from being in violation to not being in violation to being back in again.. WoW.. room is spinning!! LoL I am not even angry anymore.. The lady is honestly an imbecile! I can't believe that she represents Cisco!

Could be a spam bot...

Billy,

You said -"The lady is honestly an imbecile!" - I agree - she MUST have your post confused with another and in EVERY other forum I have been in when a MOD edits your post they put right in the post that it has been edited by the mod because of ..... This protects the mod just as in this case where she is sooooo wrong!!

Got to say that I do not hang out there very much anymore and WHO CARES what your score is - HOW THE F_CK would that help someone to pass the exam, ooooo, Billy got a 943 on the CCNA - NOW I know how to pass the exam !!!!! Something is VERY WRONG at Cisco !!!!

Just my thoughts!!!

Crap..now because of all this I'm afraid to take any test from Cisco ever again. Thanks a lot Billy, because I know your score, I'm going to pass every test I ever take....bring on the CCIE LAB!!!!!

haha

LoL.. Truth is I am not a great tester.. I tend to second guess myself and over analyze questions.. That said I will admit something funny.. I missed the ICND2 exam by one question then turned around and passed the exam by one question.. No joke!

Hey, you know what.. you can go to every prospective employer and tell them that you aced (1000) every Cisco test that you took and if they ask for proof you just tell them that the Cisco NDA will not permit you to show them! LoL

Forget previous post! I scored 1000 on all my Cisco tests! LoL
