We are currently using a Cisco 2600 router with a sixteen port analog modem bank. The machine worked for a year at one location with not one problem. It was moved to a new location and immediately started to give trouble.
Some ports would go off hook when dialed to, but just not answer during the handshake. This results in a 721 error at the dialing modem. Some ports work for a few days then stop, whereas some stop then start.
The configs for each modem have been verified. Another router was brought in and has met the same fate.
Can anyone offer assistance????
