Running some pretty old stuff here on a Cisco 6506 (IOS c6sup2_rp Software (c6sup2_rp-PK2SV-M), Version 12.1(26)E), but trying to see if I can LAG a few GigE ports, and not having any luck. Is this supported or am I to use EtherChannel?

On the ALU 7450, it's really simple on the 7450, but cannot see a good, easy way on the 6506?

ALU 7450 example...
ALU-7450>config>lag#
----------------------------------------------
description "ALU7450-to-Cisco6506"
mode access
encap-type dot1q
port 9/1/18
port 9/1/19
lacp active administrative-key 32768
no shutdown

Thanks!

You use the same command as etherchannel, but with "active":

Channel-group 1 mode active
