Good morning!

We currently have a Websense setup w/ ISA proxy server to take care of the content filtering for our employees. We are looking to explore the Web Content filtering market, to see what else is out there and what the cost differences are. One of the things we're looking at is the Cisco Ironport solution.

It looks like a pretty good option, and it looks to be less-expensive than the Websense licensing with out their gateway, which we would need to get. the one thing that seems to be lacking with the Ironport solution is information on the internet. Does anyone have the Ironport content filtering solution in place? How do you like it? Any pros or cons? How well does it identify users on Windows terminal servers?

the last question is probably the most important, as most of our users connect via thin clients to MS terminal servers. We have users of various levels using the server farms, so the ideal solution would be where the content filter can identify the actual user requesting the site, so that it can accurately allow or block site access.

Any other suggestions?

thanks everyone!
