i have a HP DL320 G2 2GIG ram server and I have been trying to install the IP telephony OS...It gets past the hardware detection disk and prompts for the disk2 but never gets past that....Any ideas???

Does it recognize Disk 2? Or does the 'Insert Disk 2' Window just stay there after there is Disk activity?

It just stays at the insert Disk 2 box...I have left it for over 45minutes but no joy...

I had the same problem on one of my servers that I was installing a subcriber ccm server for my lab at work. Both servers are real Cisco MCS7835 servers(HP/Compaq). It would ask for disc 3, and never do anything. It turns out, when I looked carefully, that I did not have a DVD drive at all. It was a regular CD-Rom drive. The hardware detection disc was a regular CD, then the rest of the set was DVD.

Hopefully this is your problem also. This is something you can overcome easily.

ptdog's answer is where I was going. If he is correct and you have a DVD, you can still copy the correct Directory off the DVD to a CD and the install should work fine. I did this until I eBay'd a DVD drive for my server.
If that's not the problem, you probably have a bad disk.

I am trying to install Cisco Callmanager 4.0 subcriber on VMWARE but it keeps coming up with the OS is not supported on this version....I also have service pack 4 installed...Any advice please...
