Hi Team,

I had experience with Cisco IP Phone model 7841 , and 7821 which have registered through sip protocol on cucm ver 12.5.1.11900-146 and it cause the below issues.

1. Delay on an external outbound call
2. Delay on an internal inbound call.

Let me know if this got solution to resolve the matter.

Hi Team ,

Any updates on this ?

What happens when you terminate the string (digits dialed) with a press of the pound (#) key? Any difference - or is it faster?

Are you using any MTPs in the audio path?
Do any other handset models have the same issue?

The only other thing would be it is waiting for more digits, hence the suggestion of adding # when dialling.
If this speeds things up, you can amend the interdigit timeout and look for patterns which are could be matching but are longer than your extensions
Dial Number analyser can help with this.

Have deployed and used thousands of 7811 and 7841 and have not come across the issue on 11.5, 12,5 or 14.
